Congratulations and welcome to recently elected board member, Deshay Scandrick, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, RDH! Deshay is new to the OAAPN Board and we look forward to working with her in the year ahead.
Having been a nurse practitioner for the past 16 years, Deshay has worked in long-term care, hospice and palliative care, home care and primary care. She recently received her DNP at Aspen University, graduating in December 2023 and is currently seeking a Psychiatric NP certificate at Maryville University. Deshay is committed to making sure APRN voices are heard through equal opportunities and the ability to practice at the top of their license.
Together with her knowledge, experience and commitment, OAAPN will successfully continue our mission to promote advanced practice nursing through practice, education, advocacy and leadership!
