Diann has been an RN for 41 years and an APRN for 20. She is a past president of OAAPN and played an instrumental role in the passage of HB 216, which expanded Schedule II prescribing privileges for APRNs. Diann worked tirelessly in her presidential role, conducting television and print interviews and appearing on All Sides with Ann Fisher on NPR, defending the autonomous practice of APRNs. She worked collaboratively with other NP organizations in the state of Ohio, such as NAPNAP and OSANA, to improve relations and coordinate efforts.
In 2012, Diann opened Affordable Care Health Clinic in Gahanna where she continues to serve as co-owner and full-time provider. Her family practice clinic seeks to serve the needs of the uninsured and underinsured by providing access to care they would otherwise have difficulty finding. Her patients are comprised of individuals from far-and-wide, with special attention to our uninsured immigrant communities.
Diann graduated summa cum laude from Otterbein University. She is a sharp diagnostician and responsible prescriber. She has found her life calling in providing health care services to others. The love she has for her patients is evident in the way she listens, looks and recommends.
Thank you Diann for all that you do for your community, your patients and for APRN practice in Ohio!
