Congratulations to Mandi Cafasso, DNP, APRN-CNP on her appointment as OAAPN Government Relations Co-Director! Mandi joined the OAAPN board in 2019 as the Southwest Region Co-Director. Since that time, she has been an active member of the Membership, Communications, Scholarship, Education, Statewide, and Government Relations committees. Mandi has also served as the Chair of the OAAPN Key Person Program for the past five years where she has been instrumental in its success and in leading our Key Program members in aiding legislative efforts.
In addition to having over 15 years of clinical experience and expertise in Pediatric Endocrinology, she is currently an assistant professor at the University of Cincinnati, College of Nursing. Her professional career includes educating APRNs about Ohio law, rule, and grassroots advocacy while serving as a guest lecturer on this topic for a number of national, regional, and local organizations and facilities.
We are very excited about the perspective, experience, and knowledge that Mandi will bring to her new role with OAAPN and look forward to many exciting things to come as our GRC works on many new initiatives in 2024 and beyond!
