Save the Date for OAAPN’s Statewide Conference returning to downtown Columbus, October 26 to 28, 2023. Continuing education hours will be available covering a wide variety of topics including category A law and pharmacology with pre-conference providing 8 hours of CE and full conference providing up to 12 hours of CE.
APRNs must complete 24 hours of CE for each APRN license, in addition to the 24 hours of CE required to renew the RN license, for a total of 48 hours. One hour must also include Ohio law. For an APRN-CNP, APRN-CNS, or APRN-CNM, at least 12 of those hours must include CEs in advanced pharmacology.
CE contact hours must be obtained between November 1, 2021, and October 31, 2023, to renew your APRN license by October 31, 2023. Renewals may be filled out in advance of the October 31 deadline and there is no late fee as long as you have all CEs completed by October 31, 2023. In summary, you can complete your CEs at the OAAPN Conference even if you complete your renewal before the event!
