This week’s “Amazing APRN” is Joscelyn Greaves:
Joscelyn graduated from Malone College and received an MS in nursing from Kent State University. She is certified as an adult NP and has been practicing with Gastroenterology Specialists, Inc. in Canton for the last eight years. Joscelyn has presented nationally on a variety of disease states and serves as faculty of Gastroenterology/Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers. Recently, she presented on gastroparesis at the first Gastroenterology/Hepatology Advance Practice Providers conference in Las Vegas. Locally, she has presented in the last several months at GAPNA’s annual state conference on the Diagnosis and Management of Cirrhosis, as well as Aultman Hospital’s pharmacology conference on Treatment of Patients with Irritable Bowel Diarrhea and Constipation. Joscelyn will begin her term as OAAPN President starting in November! She is truly an Amazing APRN and we are so lucky to have her as a member of our profession and leading our great organization!
At OAAPN we want to exemplify a feeling of encouragement and support, because when we support each other as a profession we become unstoppable! As advanced practice registered nurses we need to build each other up and celebrate our accomplishments. If you are Amazing (which we know you are) or would like to submit a story of an “Amazing APRN” you know, please do! We would love to celebrate them!
