Amazing APRN Spotlight for Elisha Clark

On March 13, 2023, OAAPN BOD Member and APRN, Elisha Clark, added yet another amazing accomplishment to her long list of achievements with the grand opening of Clark Family Practice in Byesville, Ohio.

Having practiced as an NP for over 12 years, Elisha currently serves as the Medical Director of Spero in Cambridge, Ohio, runs a wound care clinic, supervises students in the online FNP program at Ohio University, serves as a speaker for Novo Nordisk and Astellas, and serves on the Women’s Health Advisory Board for Astellas. She does all of this while remaining committed to providing quality care to the underserved in rural Southeast Ohio, a calling she can now answer even louder with her new practice where she already has over 860 patients registered!

The practice currently includes one part-time and three full-time employees and her collaborator will also see patients at the practice two Mondays per month. She has plans to expand to at least six full-time NPs in the future in order to keep up with the high level of interest and need in the community.

In her free time, Elisha enjoys the company of her husband, three sons, and daughter as well as their collection of furry (and not so furry) family members which include two cats, two dogs, several fish, a leopard gecko, and its offspring (one of which is blind!) She serves as OAAPN’s SE Region Director and as the Chapter Leader for OAAPN’s Zanesville/Newark Chapter.

Elisha is one busy APRN but would not have it any other way. According to Clark, “this is so much work, but so amazingly worth it! I wouldn’t be where I am today without my absolutely amazing staff, colleagues, and family!”

OAAPN wishes Elisa heartfelt congratulations on her new practice!
