Amazing APRN Mandi Cafasso
Mandi Cafasso is a pediatric nurse practitioner at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor in the DNP program at the University of Cincinnati. Mandi has been involved in health policy and advocacy efforts on behalf of Ohio APRN’s since starting her career as an NP in 2005. She serves as the legislative chair for the Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, chairs OAAPN’s Key Person initiative and is the Southwest Regional Co-Director on the OAAPN Board. Additionally, she serves as a member of the nominating committee for the Pediatric Endocrine Nurse Society.
Mandi has presented locally, regionally and nationally on health policy topics, most recently at the OAAPN’s first Southwest Ohio Region Conference. She has attended the Nurse in Washington Internship program and has been an active participant at Nurses Day at the Statehouse since 2010. In her spare time, Mandi enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, strength training, traveling and cooking.
