OHIO RENEWAL RN & APRN Licenses RENEWAL STARTS JULY 1 Confirm that your contact information, email, and mailing address are up to date. https://elicense.ohio.gov Regular Fee July 1 - September 15 Late Fee September 16 - October 31 RN CONTINUING EDUCATION RNs in Ohio must complete 24 hours of CE including 1 hour of category A each 2-year renewal cycle. APRN CONTINUING EDUCATION APRNs must complete 24 additional CE hours including 12 pharmacology hours (for APRN with prescriptive authority). RENEW RN LICENSE FIRST In your Ohio eLicense account, select your RN license to start renewal. APRN ENDORSEMENT To renew your APRN certificate, choose the option under “Endorsement.” You will need your physician collaborator contact information. APRN certification (AANP or ANCC) renewal is separate from the state renewal. REMINDERS Save copies of CE certificates for 6 years. A one-time CE waiver is available for a single renewal period.
