Key Person Program

OAAPN’s “Key Person Program” (KPP) aims to assign an APRN to each House and Senate district in Ohio with a goal for that person to form a relationship with his or her legislator. This relationship would start with having a meeting with your legislator to introduce yourself and to present our targeted messaging and talking points, which are always patient-centered. Activities can range from serving as a resource, being helpful to the legislator, to hosting a “town hall meeting.” We are not so much about touting our profession as we are about improving the delivery of health care in Ohio.

To serve as a Key Person you must be an OAAPN member and be a constituent resident of your assigned district. Your first step is to submit an application to OAAPN at this LINK. Not a member? Click HERE to join.
