Last month, OAAPN members Marie Grosh DNP, APRN-CNP, LNHA and Evelyn Duffy, DNP, AGPCNP-BC, FAANP attended the annual American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) conference in San Diego. AANP, who represents the interests of over 431,000 APRNs in America, is proud to celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2025.
As Ohio’s State Liaison, and an AANP Fellow, Dr. Duffy was an integral leader in the planning and execution of this year’s conference. We thank her for the time she serves bridging the gap between APRN practice issues and needs at both a state and national level.
In addition to presenting as part of this year’s conference, Dr. Grosh was awarded the AANP State Award for Outstanding Contributions. This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated excellence that supports the NP role in the areas of practice, education, advocacy, research, and leadership.
We congratulate Dr. Grosh on this achievement and thank both Marie and Evelyn for their contributions towards the advancement of NP practice in Ohio and across the country!
