In this issue, we are excited to shed a spotlight on amazing APRN Kathleen Reinemeyer, APRN-CNP! Katie is currently the Clinical Education Leader for Kroger Health’s Little Clinics. Through these challenging past few years, she has led with compassion and dedication while providing continuous education to all of the staff.
Her dedication to community retail healthcare and providing high-quality care within all communities is evident through the new clinical trials program and revamp of Kroger Health’s education program that she has spent the past several months facilitating. Meeting patients where they are is important to ensuring they participate in their own healthcare and Katie is creating programs that allow this to happen.
Kroger Health’s mission and vision looks to simplify healthcare and help people live healthier lives, two ideals that Katie lives out through her service and leadership while continuing to role model her expectations by working in clinics and caring for patients within their communities. She is currently working towards her DNP so she can further support the APRNs she works with to afford them not only proper education but also the ability to provide the highest level of care.
Her hard work, day in and day out, deserves recognition as she has spent countless hours, days, weeks, and months providing care in her surrounding communities and support for her Kroger Health colleagues.
Katie was nominated by Connie Palakodeti, APRN-CNP. Thank you Katie for all that you do for your community, your patients, and for APRN practice in Ohio!
