Congratulations to Randee Masciola DNP APRN-CNP WHNP-BC, an OAAPN member since 2015, who was selected this year for entry into the American Association of Nurse Practitioner’s (AANP) prestigious community of Fellows. Fellows are recognized NP leaders who have made outstanding contributions toward furthering the NP profession, developing NP leaders of the future and enhancing AANP’s mission.
Dr. Randee Masciola is passionate about nurse practitioner education and clinical practice. This is demonstrated through her leadership, scholarship and mentorship which has led to a career with local, state, national and global impact in women’s health. Highlights of her accomplishments include:
- Director of the Doctor of Nursing program for a Top Ten Public University
- Leader within the National Association of NPs for Women’s Health where she greatly influenced education through the development of WHNP curriculum guidelines and certification
- Editorial review board member forĀ Women’s Healthcare: A Clinical Journal for NPs
- Selected for the Ohio March of Dimes Nurse Educator of the Year Award 2020
