Do you know an outstanding APRN? We are now accepting nominations for OAAPN’s Leadership Awards. Recipients will be announced during OAAPNs Statewide Conference this October.
Below is a brief description of each award. Click here for more detailed criteria. Nominations can be submitted here. The deadline to submit is August 30, 2025.
The OAAPN Award for Excellence — bestowed upon an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who demonstrates excellence in the role through any or all of the following activities: Professional development, clinical skill, innovative practice, academic excellence, political action or interdisciplinary interactions.
The OAAPN Advocacy Award — Awarded to an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who supports and promotes the role of APRNs in Ohio.
The OAAPN Preceptor of the Year Award — This Advanced Practice Registered Nurse exemplifies professionalism, service to others and lifelong learning.
