OAAPN’s “Key Person Program” (KPP) aims to assign an APRN to each House and Senate district in Ohio with a goal for that person to form a relationship with their legislator. This relationship would start by requesting a meeting with your legislator to introduce yourself and to present our targeted messaging and talking points, which are always patient-centered. These talking points will be provided by OAAPN. Often these meetings can take place in your district and do not require you to travel. Other KPP activities can range from serving as a resource to the legislator, updating members at chapter meetings, letter writing, etc.

We are currently in need of KPP in the following districts/ areas. Those bolded are priority. If you are interested in serving, please complete the application form here.
