Recently, OAAPN member Angela Occidental, DNP, APRN-CNP, FNP-C, was featured in Ohio State University’s Transformation Magazine. The article highlights the positive impact Angela is making in rural Ohio where many challenges exist in maintaining healthy lifestyles and where cultural norms frequently affect healthcare decisions.
Not only is Angela an active member of OAAPN, but she also serves on the OAAPN Education Committee helping to engage Ohio APRNs through learning, outreach, and activism. We thank Angela for all that she does for OAAPN, her community, her patients, and for APRN practice in Ohio!
