  • Details: I am a second year Master’s student looking for a comprehensive learning experience. I will be entering my second semester of advanced health assessment and second semester of clinical rotation in the Fall of 2019. My fall rotation requires a cumulative 215 hours of clinic time with a focus in head-to-toe assessment, full health histories, developing an assessment and plan, and developing differential diagnoses. I am available to rotate in a number of different practice sites, though I am limited in the number of hours that I may spend in a specialty department, ED, or urgent care setting. However, the University does allow for multiple preceptor rotations within a single semester to accommodate the hour limitations. I currently work in infectious disease in a community-based clinic, focusing on HIV and hepatitis C, as the clinical coordinator and have a prior background in emergency and correctional nursing. Thank you for your consideration.

  • Start Date: January 14, 2020
  • Date Needed By: December 3, 2019
  • Details: I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself to you and your practice: My name is Leslie Susan Secrist and I am a Family Nurse Practitioner student at the University of Cincinnati. I am finishing my third semester and am interested in any opportunities you may be able to offer me in regard to clinical experience. Professionally, I have worked as a registered nurse in oncology, med-surg, dermatology, and hospice over the past seven years. It is with this combination of clinical expertise, motivation, and passion for learning I believe I can add to your practice as well as grow as a professional. Directly, I am searching for 80 hours between October and December of 2019. These hours could be adult, pediatrics or women’s health. Beginning in January 2020, I will be looking for pediatric experience (200 hours) and women’s health (150 hours). In total, I am looking to fill 552 hours in the next 12 months. I am interested in infectious disease and special populations but I love to learn – I will learn anything if someone is willing to teach me. I am willing to travel and my schedule is flexible. Also, I will always bring coffee (or tea!), a positive attitude and my passion for learning. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Respectfully, Leslie Susan Secrist, BSN, RN LSSecrist@gmail.com 513-289-8153

  • Details: I am in need of a preceptor in pediatrics. Since I work full-time day shift, my preference would be to find a pediatric location offering one or two late evenings and Saturday hours. This rotation is from 03/04/19 – 04/27/19. I require 125 hours to complete this rotation over the eight-week period. Also, I am in need of a preceptor who practices at an urgent care facility. I am interested in precepting in the evenings, from 5-9pm and on weekends, and would be happy to precept on both Saturday and Sunday. I am required to complete 125 hours over the course of eight weeks. I am able to precept with a NP, MD, or DO. This rotation is from 05/06/19 and ends 06/29/19. Any assistance you can provide to me is truly appreciated. Unfortunately, after many phone calls and visits to offices, I have been unable to locate preceptors for these two clinical rotations and I am in need of securing these sites fairly quickly.
