Promoting the role of Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

Congratulations to Certified Nurse Practitioner Vikki Delaney who was presented with OAAPN’s Award of Excellence during our reception at the conference; and to OAAPN lobbyist Stephen Nielson who received our Advocacy Award during Friday’s General Sessions. Nominations for these awards were sent to OAAPN over the Summer by OAAPN members like you!

The Award for Excellence is bestowed upon an APRN who demonstrates excellence in their role through any or all of the following activities: professional development, clinical skill, innovative practice, academic excellence, political action or interdisciplinary interaction. Our Advocacy Award is presented to an individual who supports and promotes the role of the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Ohio. Nominations for next year’s award will open next June.
