She is an expert on Nurse Practitioner practice issues, travels extensively throughout the U.S. presenting on-site certification exam review courses, and lectures on advanced pharmacology and primary care topics. Two different aspects of Ohio’s opioid epidemic will be presented: Dr. Richard Kasmer, Pharm.D, JD, Vice-Dean and professor of pharmacy practice at the Northeast Ohio Medical University, will present Ohio Law and Opioids on Friday morning. On Friday afternoon, officers from the Lucas County Sheriff’s Department will present “Ohio’s Opioid Epidemic: We Can’t Arrest Our Way Out of This!”
