As we continue the OAAPN mission, including educating our families, friends and neighbors about the necessity to modernize laws regarding Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, we need to share and showcase APRNs in settings outside of hospitals, clinics and urgent cares. We need to feature Ohio APRNs participating in their communities, volunteering time on missions, assisting and directing patient care and more.
We need to share APRNs in action.
To help out and get to know more about other APRNs around the great state of Ohio, we are hosting an online photo campaign. You can share your life and experiences and see what others are sharing as well. The campaign runs until September 10th. We will select our favorite images and create an official Ohio APRN calendar. The calendars will be available for purchase at our annual statewide conference in October and online after the event. The funds raised from the calendar sales will be applied to our PAC fund.
Categories for APRN images:
- Volunteering on mission trips (HIPAA compliant)
- Doing hobbies (biking, boating, reading, hiking, etc.)
- Working with patients, co-workers, etc. (HIPAA compliant)
- Meeting with or supporting Ohio legislators (parades, meetings)
- Visiting or promoting your alma mater
- Attending an OAAPN regional meeting
